Which Payment Methods We Accept
All payments are processed over an encrypted connection and we never store your full card number.
Accepted
- Visa, Mastercard and American Express — credit and debit
- PayPal
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Klarna — pay in three, interest free
- Protelicious gift cards
Not accepted
- Cheques and bank transfers, except on club accounts
- Cash on delivery
- More than one card on a single order
Why a payment might be declined
We see three causes, in this order of frequency:
- The billing address does not match the one your bank holds. This is the most common by a wide margin.
- The card is enrolled in 3-D Secure and the verification step was closed early.
- An international transaction block on the card.
A declined payment sometimes leaves a pending authorisation on your statement. It is not a charge and clears on its own, usually within three to five working days.
